Sports division vice chair Wayne Hepler reminds us that panels are filling, but there’s still room for more Sports Division entries for Vegas on April 9-13. You can do the simple process online at the BEA site by Wednesday the 15th. Wayne says these late entries are welcome (and expected):

If you’ve got last-minute sports panel ideas and need another place to pitch them, visit this page and post a comment (you’ll need a WordPress account). As late as it is, it may still pull someone in for you. Be sure to write a full description of what you have and what you need. BEA Executive Director Heather Birks also shared some scheduling info with division officers in August and told us this week that this info, while not yet completely set, is firm enough to pass on for planning purposes:
- Saturday April 9: Pre-Conference workshops & Meetings
- Sunday April 10: Full Schedule/Opening Ceremony/Sony Reception
- Monday April 11: Full Schedule/Festival of Media Arts
- Tuesday April 12: Full Schedule
- Wednesday April 13: Morning Sessions & Meetings
The BEA Exhibit Hall will be open Monday April 11 & Tuesday April 12. NAB sessions & exhibits open Monday April 11 and run through Thursday April 14. All BEA activities will be at the Hilton this year.
